DBT Skills Group for Adolescent Girls
For Ages 13 – 17
This structured group program focuses on empowering adolescent girls with essential DBT skills to navigate life's challenges. Participants will learn techniques for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication, fostering resilience and self-assurance. In a safe, supportive environment, they’ll build skills to manage stress, strengthen relationships, and cultivate a balanced mindset.

- Weekly 90-minute sessions for 10 weeks
- Learn evidence-based DBT skills in a supportive group environment
- Practical strategies to cope with intense emotions
- Tools to tolerate stress in healthier ways
- Enhance interactions with family, friends, and teachers with more effective communications skills

Participants learn and practice skills across four Key Modules:
Mindfulness: Cultivating present-moment awareness and acceptance
Distress Tolerance: Building resilience and coping strategies for managing perceived crisis situations
Emotion Regulation: Understanding and regulating intense emotions effectively
Interpersonal Effectiveness: Enhancing communication and relationship-building skills
